AWS Tucson Zinfandel Tasting

Many thanks to Jim for setting up this tasting. Zinfandel wine is one of his favorite wines so this was a good event for him to host. Jim worked with the Beverage House on Oracle and even got them to agree to provide anyone who attended the event a 20% case discount on the wines tasted! That is a quite bargain!

Jim picked out the following wines for us: 2006 Quivera-Dry Creek Valley @ $21.49; 2006 Coppola Director’s Cut @ $22.19; 2005 Lolonis-Redmond Valley @ $25.79; a 2003 & 2004 Karly-Warrior Fire @ $27.99; 2005 Ridge-Lytton Springs Vineyard @ 33.49 and a 2006 Seghesio-Cortina @ ?. A common favorite was the 2004 Karly-Warrior Fire (at least one of Kirk’s favorites!).
