December 2008 – AWS Tucson Holiday Party

Dave selected some very interesting Pinot Noir Wines for our tasting this month. The Arizona weather had chilled down quite a bit this day and even had a chance of rain. The wind was blowing quite strongly tonight too. We had a great gathering! Byran Barlow provided comments from the AWS National Conference. We finally got Dave to commence the wine discussions and pouring. We really had some interesting wines to taste tonight. And…. As usual – everyone brought some very interesting and delicious dishes to dine on.

The wine list included: Sonoma Pinot Noir ($30), RM Costal Pinot Noir ($7.50), Kim Crawford Pinot Noir ($32), Jadot Bourgogne ($15), Tour De Lang ($14), Willamette Valley Pinot Noir ($20) and Belle Vallee Pinot Noir ($18).
